Best NBA prop bets today for Mavericks vs. Nuggets 2023

Two of the contenders in the Western Conference face off in Denver on Wednesday night, with the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic hosting Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.

Denver is one of the best teams in the NBA at home this season, but with Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon listed as questionable, betting some player props may be the best way to wager on this game.

Here are two that I’m eyeing for this Western Conference showdown:

Mavericks vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Josh Green OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Michael Porter Jr. OVER 16.5 Points

Josh Green OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Josh Green is making the most of his opportunity with an increased role since the Irving trade. With Tim Hardaway Jr. listed as questionable, Green could be in line for big minutes against tonight.

The Mavs guard is shooting 41.1 percent from beyond the arc this season, and Green has made multiple 3-pointers in three of his last five games.

Given the fact that Green is pushing 30 minutes a night since the trade, I think the chances will be there for him to hit multiple 3-pointers against Denver.

Michael Porter Jr. OVER 16.5 Points

This could end up being a steal for Michael Porter Jr.’s points prop if Gordon and Murray sit.

MPJ has put up 17 or more points in six of his last nine games, and he’s averaging 16.7 points per game on the season.

The Nuggets wing is taking nearly 13 shots per game (12.9), and he should thrive against a Dallas team that ranks 22nd in the NBA in defensive rating this season.

The Mavericks lack wing defensive options after trading away Dorian Finney-Smith, so I love getting MPJ at this number on Wednesday.
