After Round 5 of the 2022 Varsity Cup we have new log leaders – and ONE team still searching for their first victory.

Shimlas headed into the round on top of the standings, but thanks to their 32-22 home defeat against NWU Eagles, they slipped to third place in the log.
Two Cape sides – UCT Ikeys and Maties – now sit 1 and 2 in the standings following their respective wins over Madibaz and CUT.
UP-Tuks round out the semi-final positions at this stage.

At the bottom of the standings, CUT are still looking for their first win having gone down 52-19 to Maties on Monday.
