Coway AP-1512HH Mighty Air Purifier (White)
Deal price: $146; street price: $190

The Coway AP-1512HH Mighty air purifier is effective, efficient, and affordable. Not only does our top pick work great, but during our long-term testing, we've found it to be quite reliable. Don't let its size fool you. Even though it weighs under 13 pounds and measures at 16.8 x 9.6 x 18.3 inches, within 30 minutes it reduced heavy smoke pollution in a 135-square-foot office by 99.6%. If clean air is valuable to you, this deal price of $146 is a rare opportunity to purchase a high-quality air purifier and save a few bucks too.

TCL 5-Series 75-Inch Google TV (Model S546)
Deal price: $800; street price: $900

The 75-inch version of our top budget Google-enabled 4K TV pick is back down to the previous low. The TCL 5-Series model S546 provides good picture quality and great integrated streaming options, offering a full array of local-dimming backlights and the Google smart-TV interface. While its overall brightness, contrast, and motion quality don't measure up to the best LCD and OLED screens, we still think the TCL 5-Series provides a great viewing experience.

High-quality robot vacuums may seem like a luxury, but at $180, this certified refurbished iRobot Roomba i3 EVO is a great investment. An ideal choice for larger spaces with rugs and shedding pets, our upgrade pick for best robot vacuum surpasses less expensive models with its strong suction, tangle-resistant brushes, and smart navigation. Although it isn't as quick, clever, or easily controllable as the Roborock S4 Max, the Roomba i3 boasts features like Reactive Sensor Technology and Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility. At $180 with code SUMMER20SAVE, this price is the lowest we've seen for this excellent robovac.

If you're looking for deals on Amazon devices, you've come to the right place. We'll keep this section updated, as well as our roundup of the best Amazon Device Deals. If you're looking for a Ring Video Doorbell Wired, which is our budget pick for best smart doorbell camera, we expect it to be discounted to under $50 during Prime Day.

In recent weeks, we've seen some deals on refurbished Kindle Paperwhites, but they've been primarily for the 2018 model. At this point, we'd recommend forgoing the older models and waiting for Prime Day sales on the newest Paperwhites, which support USB-C charging.

Matching the best price we saw during Black Friday, this is a solid Prime exclusive deal for a 4th Gen Amazon Echo smart speaker that comes with a Sengled Bluetooth color smart light bulb. With Alexa, the Echo can play music, answer questions, control your smart-home devices, and buy stuff from Amazon—all with a few words. The Echo is our pick for the best Alexa smart speaker, and although the Sengled bulb isn't an official pick, we've recommended some of their bulbs in the past. (Plus, it's free!)

Part smart speaker and part tablet, the compact Amazon Echo Show 5 is a good display for a nightstand or bathroom counter. Our smaller-screen pick does everything the larger Show 8 can do, including play music, check the weather report, and trigger any smart-home routines. It also has an auto-dimming screen when you turn out the lights, so it shouldn't keep you up at night.

As the smaller version of our top Alexa smart speaker, the Echo Dot is a great option for people who want to snag a smaller smart speaker on the cheap. Our budget pick features an audio-out port and Bluetooth connectivity, so you can connect the Dot to a Bluetooth speaker or to a larger audio system if you want better sound. This is a new low price for the Echo Dot on its own, and an even better value if you add in the free Sengled Bluetooth bulb. While we haven't tested that Sengled bulb in particular, it's a simpler version of our former budget pick and it's free (usually $15).

Amazon Music Unlimited (four months free)
Deal price: $0; street price: $32

Prime members who have yet to try Amazon Music Unlimited can get four months free. Like its competitor Apple Music, Amazon Music now offers HD spatial audio—an improvement in the quality of sound that makes your listening experience a lot more pleasant. Other great features that come with an Amazon Music subscription include ad-free access to any song, unlimited skips, and hands-free listening with Alexa for those who are already part of the Amazon smart-home ecosystem. This deal regularly crops up around this time of year, but free is hard to beat, so it’s still a nice chance to experiment with a new music streaming service. Be aware that after the free four-month subscription expires, you will be automatically charged $8.99 per month.

Audible Premium Subscription (3-Month)
Deal price: $0; street price: $45

If you have a book lover in your life, or are one yourself, this is a great chance to try out an Audible Premium Plus subscription. Normally $15/month, Amazon Prime members can get the first three months of this subscription for free. On top of accessing tons of audiobooks, podcasts, and original content, you'll receive one credit to purchase any premium selection title each month. After the trial period is over, you'll automatically be billed for the regular monthly membership fee—so be sure to cancel if you aren't interested in continuing with the service.

Amazon Echo Glow Night-Light
Deal price: $17; street price: $28

Help your child sleep through the night with one of our smart night light picks, the Echo Glow. It doesn't have any physical controls, but adjusting the brightness and 16 different color options is as easy as tapping the light or using the accompanying app or your Alexa device. We've seen better discounts for this smart lighting device, but it's still a  great way to regulate your little one's bedtime routine—an essential step for children to sleep better over time—while adding some personality to their bedroom.

Echo Dot Kids Edition Smart Speaker (4th Generation)
Deal price: $25; street price: $50

As the kids' version of our budget Alexa speaker pick, the Echo Dot Kids Edition offers all the standard Echo Dot features for about half the price—such as asking Alexa to play music, reading stories, and calling friends and family. Plus, it sounds good enough to use as a nightstand speaker or even as a small kitchen speaker. Down to a new low of $25 for Prime members, the Kids Edition comes with a solid two-year replacement warranty and is available in your choice of two cute, child-friendly designs (with a tiger or panda printed on the fabric).

Echo Show 8 Smart Display (2nd Gen, 2021 release, Refurbished) with delayed shipping
Deal price: $70; street price: $115

The Amazon Echo Show 8 (2nd Generation) is simple to use thanks to its excellent on-screen menus and Alexa's always-impressive conversational chops. Its speaker also produces clear audio and is powerful enough to fill a room. Down to the lowest price we've seen for a refurbished model, this is a solid chance to pick up the latest Show 8 for less. Available in both black and white.

Echo Dot Kids Edition + Echo Glow Bundle
Deal price: $36; street price: $65

If you're having a hard time getting your little one into a regular bedtime routine, Amazon's Echo Dot Kids and Echo Glow bundle, which features one of our smart nightlight picks, is back on sale. The Glow has a range of 16 colors and can cue a bedtime countdown controlled by another Amazon Echo device—in this case, the included Dot Kids, a kid-friendly version of the vaunted pint-sized smart speaker, available in tiger or panda print.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet (10th Gen, 32 GB)
Deal price: $45; street price: $80

Whether you're looking for the perfect tablet to keep the little one occupied or an affordable tablet for reading or watching videos, Amazon’s Fire HD 8 tablet fits the bill. It doesn’t have access to the Google Play store or Google apps, but it does let you access Amazon content easily. This version of the Fire HD 8 tablet runs on 2 GB of RAM and is back down to $45. The tablet offers great battery life (up to 12 hours) for reading or browsing the internet. While the low-resolution screen isn't as sharp as the competition, the Fire HD 8 has more-extensive parental controls than other tablets, making it a great family device.

Logitech HD Webcam C615 (Amazon)
Deal price: $30; street price: $34

Logitech HD Webcam C615 (Best Buy)
Deal price: $30; street price: $34

Update 2: Up $1 to $30, also available at Best Buy with store pickup. In this modern age of Zoom meetings and video conferencing, sometimes the sub-par webcam on your laptop just won't cut it. Our budget pick for the best webcam, the Logitech C615, is perfect if you're seeking a sub-$50 option. While the overall video quality isn't as good as our top pick, it still offers 1080p resolution and looks better than any other camera we tested around the same price point. Matching the best price we've seen this year, this deal is another excellent opportunity to ensure you aren't a pixelated blur when video-chatting with others.

Western Digital My Passport SSD (1TB, Red)
Deal price: $110; street price: $130

Portable SSDs are great for people who regularly transfer files between computers and are looking for something both fast and compact. With data transfers up to 10 Gbps, the My Passport offers incredibly fast speed in a durable and a pocketable package our testers appreciated. If you accidentally drop the drive and the shock-resistant design fails you, WD also offers a lengthy five-year warranty on this device (the longest of any drive we found).

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 (8 GB RAM, 128 GB eMMC)
Deal price: $530; street price: $650

A good Chromebook can do almost anything a regular laptop can do, and the best ones feel better to use than their similarly priced Windows counterparts. Our testers found the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 to be smaller, lighter, faster, and equipped with a better battery than any other Chromebooks we tested. Normally more expensive than our other picks due to the solid specs and 8 GB of RAM, this deal brings the price more in line with cheaper options. Just note that this device is only equipped with USB-C ports, so you'll need an adapter if you wish to use older peripherals.

Epson FastFoto FF-680W Portable Document Scanner
Deal price: $500; street price: $550

Unlike most traditional scanners that can bend documents and photos, the Epson FastFoto FF-680W quickly and reliably produces high-resolution photo scans without damaging the original. We particularly appreciated our upgrade pick's rapid-fire photo scanning abilities, though it costs and weighs more than our other portable document scanner picks. This recurring deal is a nice chance to save if you need to digitize a big pile of documents and receipts.

Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-1H-R4HQ)
Deal price: $200; street price: $480

The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-1H-R4HQ) is an all-around solid Chromebook, with a comfortable keyboard, a responsive trackpad, and 11 hours of battery life. Compared to our top picks, the Spin 514 is larger and heavier, and its processor has weaker performance when the laptop is unplugged, but it's still a good option, especially on sale. This Chromebook comes with an AMD Ryzen 3 3000 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 64 GB eMMC SSD.

If you’re a regular Wirecutter reader, you may already know that we do not recommend Apple AirPods for the simple reason that we think several other earbuds deliver better sound quality and functionality with a longer battery life, often at a lower price. Below are the deals we’re seeing on the headphones and earbuds we recommend most.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 (Refurbished)
Deal price: $223 with promo code SUMMER20SAVE; street price: $280

Drown out the din with our top noise-cancelling headphones pick, the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, now down to $223 with code SUMMER20SAVE. This pair is manufacturer-refurbished from the Bose eBay storefront and comes with a comprehensive two-year warranty. Though we've seen slightly better deals on refurbished options, this is still an excellent opportunity to save if you're looking for a pair of comfortable and lightweight headphones that offer superior adjustable noise cancellation.

KEF Mu3 Wireless Earbuds (Silver grey)
Deal price: $130; street price: $230

The KEF Mu3 is one of the best-sounding pairs of true wireless earbuds we’ve ever tested. While they're not an official pick, these earbuds have great sound quality with clear highs, deep (but not overpowering) bass notes, and a surprisingly large soundstage for tiny earbuds. The active noise cancellation is middling and there's no track-reverse option with the controls, but if those aren't deal breakers, these headphones are sure to please.

EarFun Free 2 Wireless Earbuds
Deal price: $32; street price: $50

Wireless earbuds are incredibly convenient, but it's hard to find a good pair under $50. While EarFun's sound quality isn't quite as balanced as our top pick, these earbuds offer a lot of features you don't usually find in budget models—a full suite of tap-based controls, clear-sounding microphones for phone calls, and a high water-resistance rating. Make sure you clip the on-page coupon and use code PDEFRE2WC to get the discounted price.

Traeger Pro Series 22 Pellet Smoker Grill
Deal price: $500; street price: $600

If you’re looking for a less-expensive Traeger pellet smoker grill, you might consider the first-generation Pro Series 22. Although we didn't test it, Traeger is a reliable company and this grill is generally well-reviewed. The Traeger Pro 22 has 10 preset temperature options up to 450 °F and doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi, however it does come with two temperature probes. Already a more affordable alternative to our main picks, it's down to $500, the best price we've noted so far.

KitchenAid Pro 600 Series 6-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer (Refurbished)
Deal price: $220; street price: $430

Our bigger batches stand mixer pick, the Pro 600 Series has a bigger bowl, stronger motor, and added heft, but also takes up more space and runs much louder than our top pick. It’s a workhorse stand mixer that’s so dependable it’s often found in professional kitchens. This refurbished model comes direct from the manufacturer and includes a 1-year warranty. Although this refurb deal isn't the lowest price we've seen, notable price drops for the KitchenAid Pro 600 series (new or refurbished) have been few and far between in recent years.

Cuisinart CPK-17 PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle
Deal price: $72; street price: $100

Whether you're craving late-night instant ramen, or making the perfect cup of tea, an electric kettle will gratify your needs. Our top electric kettle pick, the Cuisinart CPK-17 PerfecTemp has continued to wow us with its straightforward interface and consistent performance, even after years of use. Our testers were also impressed with how quickly it can boil a liter of water, and how accurately and consistently it holds water at a set temperature. Although not matching the previous low, this discount to $72 is a solid deal.

KitchenAid Metal Food Grinder Attachment
Deal price: $80; street price: $100

Unlock the full potential of your mixer with the addition of the KitchenAid Metal Food Grinder Attachment. If you already own our top stand-mixer pick, this easy-to-store grinder attachment enables you to flex your creative muscles and assume more control over the ingredients you put into your culinary endeavors. Included with the attachment are a food pusher, a food tray, two grinding plates, and a few extra accessories, so you can handle anything from raw meats and vegetables to bread and hard cheeses. This isn't the lowest discount we've seen, but it's still a solid deal on a versatile cooking accessory.

Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug2 (14 oz)
Deal price: $120; street price: $140

The Ember Mug2 is the newest version of the smartest coffee mug we recommend for coffee lovers. While it won't keep your drink as piping hot as the Zojirushi, it will keep your beverage at a toasty 120-145 degrees Fahrenheit (depending on what temperature you choose in the Ember app). It can't go in the dishwasher and comes with a steep price tag, but we were surprised by how effective and fun the Ember mug was to use—even if it's a bit extravagant. Only the deep blue version is discounted, but some other colors include a $30 Best Buy gift card.

Thermapen ONE Thermometer
Deal price: $79; street price: $110

Whether you're gearing up for a cookout or just looking to avoid an overcooked/undercooked fiasco, our upgrade meat thermometer pick has you covered. This was the fastest and most accurate instant-read thermometer we tested. It also offers a rotating screen with a bright backlight, a huge temperature range, and serious waterproofing. If you're serious about cooking and want to quickly and accurately get the temperature of your meal, it's an excellent option.

Rubbermaid Brilliance Dry Food Storage Containers (10-Piece Set)
Deal price: $18; street price: $20

Having a quality set of storage containers is an easy way to revamp and organize your kitchen. Our top dry food storage pick, the Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are sturdy, durable, and tight-sealing. Plus, they can be stacked safely and should easily fit into most cabinets—helping keep your food neatly ordered and fresh for longer. Down to $18, this is a solid discount if this 10-piece set fits your needs.

Maruchan Ramen Noodle Soup Creamy Chicken Flavor (24-Pack)
Deal price: $4; street price: $5

If you're a fan of (or just get nostalgia) about Maruchan's original chicken flavored ramen noodle soup, the creamy chicken flavor tastes better. The broth seems fatty, but not too thick. The “creaminess” comes from a “powdered cream substitute,” and these noodles are salty but less so than the regular chicken flavor. You can stock up with this deal from Walmart, a pack of 24 is just $4. However, this deal is only available online with shipping. If you want to avoid shipping fees you'll have to add it to a combined order of $35 or more.

Britax B-Lively Stroller (Dove)
Deal price: $143 at checkout; street price: $250

The runner-up Britax B-Lively stroller is comparable to our top pick in design, handling, and maneuverability, plus has a similarly easy-to-use recline. It also has a larger, more accessible storage basket and a brake mechanism that requires less effort to engage. However, the B-Lively is only compatible with Britax and BOB car seats. It won't work with the popular Chicco Keyfit 30, our infant car seat pick, or other brands, so it's not a good choice if you already own one of those car seats. Nevertheless, this $143 deal marks a new low for this stroller.

Quip Kids Electric Toothbrush
Deal price: $15 with promo code BLASTOFF25; street price: $25

Cavities be gone! This battery-operated, vibrating kids toothbrush from Quip has the primary features a kid's brush needs: a smaller brush head and handle, making it easier for young kids (or adults) to manipulate the brush and reach small spaces in the back of the mouth, plus a two-minute timer. Quip's svelte toothbrush was the lightest, quietest, and most aesthetically pleasing of the brushes we tested. Down to $15 with code BLASTOFF25, the toothbrush comes with a refill plan, with refill packs sent every three months at $10 a pop.

HoMedics Therapist Select Percussion Massager
Deal price: $75; street price: $100

The HoMedics Therapist Select Percussion Massager delivers a less-intense deep-tissue massage than some of our other picks, but it's light, comfortable in hand, and cheaper than most options. Overall, it's less powerful and more vibratory than other alternatives, but it still offers three speeds at 3,000 ppm.

Lyric Therapeutic Massager (Amazon)
Deal price: $130; street price: $180

Lyric Therapeutic Massager (Target)
Deal price: $130; street price: $180

The Lyric Therapeutic Massager is less of a massage gun and more of a handheld massager. Gentler than our top massage gun picks, the Lyric comes with four soft, interchangeable attachments, and a handle extender that gives you longer-than-average reach. It's simple, sleek, and only weighs 1 pound—noticeably lighter than our picks (while not a pick, this is a massage gun we recommend for those who prefer a softer touch). While it requires a Wi-Fi connection, this gives you the ability to update its built-in features and supplemental content, like videos.

Fitbit Charge 5 Fitness Tracker (Lunar White/Soft Gold, Steel Blue/Platinum)
Deal price: $105; street price: $130

The easy-to-use and feature-packed Fitbit Charge 5 is the best option for most people who want to use a fitness tracker to monitor their movements. Whether you're walking, biking, or swimming, the watch reliably detects and automatically records workouts after about 10 minutes of activity. Down to $105 in lunar white or steel blue, this deal is a new low price for our top fitness tracker pick.

Prime Day is always a prime time to snag one of our vacuum picks at a low price. So far this year, several of the robot vacs we recommend have popped up as early Prime Day deals; we expect to see more of those deals, as well as some nice discounts on canister vacs and upright vacs from Shark, as Prime Day progresses. As for cordless stick vacuums, we may see a sale or two on those, but we’re not expecting such deals to be as plentiful—however, if and when we do see those deals surface, we’ll post them here.

Eufy RoboVac 35C Robot Vacuum
Deal price: $120; street price: $180

A robot vacuum can help if you struggle to find the time (or will) to clean the old-fashioned way. A variant of our budget robot vacuum pick, the Eufy RoboVac 35C is a slim version that's perfect for small spaces with hard surfaces or low- to medium-pile carpets. It's down to the lowest price we've seen with an included 1-year Eufy warranty.

iRobot Roomba 692 Robot Vacuum
Deal price: $180; street price: $280

The iRobot Roomba 600 series is a longstanding favorite amongst our reviewers. The Roomba 692 is no exception. It's Wi-Fi enabled and works with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The 600 series comes in a few variants, but if it’s a Roomba model that starts with a 6, they're mostly the same, save varying Wi-Fi capabilities and some aesthetic differences. Down to $180, this deal is only a few dollars more than the lowest we've seen it for, and the matching the best price we've seen this year.

iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO Robot Vacuum (Refurbished)
Deal price: $280 with promo code SUMMER20SAVE; street price: $400

Nimble and great for getting pet hair out of carpets and rugs, the iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is one of our top robot vacuum picks. An impressive cleaner that can thoroughly tidy up a large space with ease, the included automatic charging and emptying dock sets this model apart from the competition. A great deal for a refurbished model, it's back down to $280 when you use code SUMMER20SAVE.

iRobot Roomba i3 EVO Robot Vacuum (Refurbished)
Deal price: $180 with promo code SUMMER20SAVE; street price: $250

Bissell CrossWave Mop-Vacuum Combo (Amazon)
Deal price: $200; street price: $227

Bissell CrossWave Mop-Vacuum Combo (Target)
Deal price: $200; street price: $227

Update: Also available from Target. The classic CrossWave gets floors near-spotless more quickly than any other floor-care tool. The strong and durable plug-in model sucks up solid debris, slurps up spills, and wipes away stains all at the same time. Fair warning: Regular maintenance is essential, but that's true of all the mop-vacuums.

Thermacell MR450 Armored Portable Mosquito Repeller
Deal price: $25; street price: $33

Save yourself from becoming a feast for mosquitos and snag the Thermacell MR450 for $25. Our runner-up pick is more rugged and portable than our top pick and better for situations like camping or fishing. However, its butane cartridge isn't quite as convenient as a lithium-ion battery, and this device is only meant for stationary activities, so it won't be effective if you take it on a stroll or hike. While this deal isn't quite the best price we've seen, it's still a great discount considering the typical street price.

Ryobi Drill and Impact Drive Kit (65-Piece) with delayed shipping or store pickup
Deal price: $15; street price: $23

When you have an organized collection of drilling and driving bits, you’re ready for anything. If you want an even more affordable set of bits, Ryobi has a number of smaller kits that are in the general format of our runner-up 95-piece set. The 65-Piece Drill and Impact Drive Kit offers a basic selection of gear, however it's diminished compared to our main picks. If you think this 65-piece kit is a good fit for you, it's down to a great price of $15 with free shipping from Home Depot. Just keep in mind that you may encounter a project that requires something this kit doesn't have.

Casper Dog Mattress (Small)
Deal price: $104; street price: $139

Whether your dog has special needs, like arthritis, or you just want them to nap in the lap of luxury, we think the Casper Dog Mattress is a paw-some pick for your pooch.  Although it's pricey, our testers thought the Casper was the easiest to re-stuff after cleaning and we loved its high-quality material. Down to $104 in size small and available in four colors, this isn't quite the best price we've seen, but deals on this bed are rare, so it's still a nice chance to save. For those with bigger pups, the medium and large sizes are also on sale, yet are still somewhat of a splurge.

Mpowerd Luci Base Outdoor Light
Deal price: $38; street price: $50

Usually selling for around $50 per light, this is the best price we've seen in awhile on our favorite collapsible light. If you're looking for some portable and easy-to-use inflatable lights for your outdoor space or event, the Mpowerd Luci Base Light is both of those things, as well as weatherproof and very bright. Whether you're setting up camp for the night, prepping for an evening picnic, or waiting for Dua Lipa to begin her set at Lollapalooza, the Luci Base Light will keep things illuminated.

Threshold Waffle Weave Shower Curtain (White)
Deal price: $19 with store pickup; street price: $25

Simple, timeless, and durable, it's no surprise the Threshold Waffle Weave Shower Curtain is our longtime top shower curtain pick. Shipping is only free on the white and gray colors with a purchase over $35 or if you're a Target RedCard holder, but the white is available at the deal price with store pickup.

Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera and Solar Panel Bundle
Deal price: $200 (Costco membership required); street price: $250

Looking for an alternative to Ring? We recommend the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camdera as our favorite integrated camera + light combos to monitor what goes bump in the night—perfect for areas like front porches or outdoor garbage can storage. Illuminating your property with a powerful 2,000 lumens, the the Arlo Pro 3 captures crisp 2K video all day and night. This Costco member-exclusive deal also includes a handy solar panel to keep this floodlight camera permanently wire-free.

Urpower 300ml Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser (2nd Gen, White)
Deal price: $26; street price: $40

Freshen up your living space with bright and clean aromas wafting through the air, all with the help of our favorite essential oil diffuser. Long-lasting and aesthetically-pleasing, the 2nd Gen Urpower 300ml Aroma Diffuser produces a strong, rich stream of mist, lights up in seven colors, and has a smaller footprint than other options four or five times the price.

Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wired (Black)
Deal price: $80; street price: $135

Besides offering great hardware and fast response times, the Arlo was the only smart doorbell we tested that could distinguish among people, animals, vehicles, or packages—so it kept false alerts to a minimum (a common issue we ran into with other models). You'll need a $3-per-month Arlo Smart subscription if you want advanced sensing options and the ability to capture video clips up to five minutes long, but we think $36/year is a fair price for those features.

Poly Voyager 5200 Bluetooth Headset
Deal price: $70; street price: $95

If you make a lot of phone calls on the go and want a more advanced microphone than your average pair of Bluetooth headphones, consider a Bluetooth headset instead. Modern headsets aren't just a lingering vestige of the early 2000s—they make you sound more clear even in the busiest environments. Our pick for optimal noise-cancellation offers incredible voice isolation. Just keep in mind that you'll lose some of your voice's natural warmth and smoothness when using the Poly Voyager 5200. The 5200 sees a lot of price fluctuations but this drop to $70 is a new low.

A collection of Prime Day preview sales on Fire TVs started June 21. We've never recommended Fire TVs, as we don't think they offer good value at their usual MSRPs, but our experts think they're somewhat more worthy of consideration when they're heavily discounted, especially if you're invested in the Alexa ecosystem. Of the ones available for sale, senior staff writer Lee Neikirk prefers the Amazon Omni Series 4K, noting, “that price for the 55-inch is solid.” Lee warns that we may see competitive pricing on better TVs during Prime Day itself.

We're also noting a number of sales on 2021 model year TVs, with deals on LG's C1 OLED line leading the way. If you've considered the tradeoffs and want to pick up one of these older models, you can find discounted TVs and home theater gear on our dedicated TV Deals page. We're presently testing the 2022 iteration of this TV—you can find our early impressions in our OLED TV guide.

We've found the first few Prime Day TV and TV accessory deals worthy of notice—we've added them below.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K (2021) (Amazon)
Deal price: $30; street price: $40

Roku Streaming Stick 4K (2021) (Best Buy)
Deal price: $30 with store pickup; street price: $40

With so many streaming services, it's nice to have a dedicated media streamer that consolidates all of your subscriptions into a single place and does the job well. Our runner-up pick has the widest selection of services overall, and the player supports all the major 4K HDR standards (including Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10+). But Roku's interface feels dated and doesn't integrate all your recently watched and preferred content into one menu as our top pick does. So if you want the widest selection of services presented in a simple, albeit somewhat dated, user interface, this is another nice opportunity to save on the Roku Streaming Stick 4K.

Roku Express 4K+ Media Streamer
Deal price: $24; street price: $40

Update: Also available from Walmart for $24. If you're limited on space behind your TV or are looking for the best picture quality you can get, the Roku Express 4K+ is a solid option that our testers liked, though it didn't quite rise to the level of our top picks. While the Express has a great remote and offers HDR10+ video, unfortunately, not many services or TVs currently support that feature. We also found that in comparison to our runner-up pick, the Express had a worse overall Wi-Fi connection. Matching the lowest price we've seen, it's a good option if your TV is compatible with HDR10+, or your media setup doesn't allow for the larger Roku Streaming Stick.

Insignia NS-HAWHP2 Wireless TV Headphones
Deal price: $50; street price: $100

If your household’s TV-viewing habits are out of sync, wireless TV headphones let you enjoy TV shows, movies, and video games without disturbing those around you. Our top pick for the best wireless TV headphones are easy to use, sound good, and deliver a comfortable fit so you can enjoy marathon binge-watching and gaming sessions.

JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One Soundbar
Deal price: $130; street price: $200

The JBL Bar 2.0 is basically a shorter, subwoofer-less version of our budget-pick, the JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass. The 2.0 comes with HDMI ARC and optical audio connections, a similarly simple remote to the 2.1, and a clear, spacious sound in movies and music. It produces more bass and a more enveloping surround-sound effect than the Roku Streambar, but there's no way to add a subwoofer or speakers. So if you don't need the Roku's streaming capabilities, or can't be bothered to mess with a subwoofer, this is your best bet for an inexpensive, HDMI-equipped 2.0 soundbar.

Klipsch R-51PM Bookshelf Speakers
Deal price: $300; street price: $360

A great pair of bookshelf speakers is one of the best investments a music lover can make. If you're looking to kick back to the sound of your favorite vinyl, our favorite speakers are the Klipsch R-51PMs. These versatile speakers offer a wide variety of connectivity options, so you can listen to your tunes however you want—via Bluetooth, optical input, USB, or phono inputs. While the sound quality isn't quite as exceptional as some of our other picks, the Klipsch's 5.25-inch woofer produces a reasonable amount of bass that impressed our testers.

We expect a slate of Apple deals during Prime Day, but only select Apple products will see significant discounts. We're anticipating notable price drops on the Apple Watch Series 7 and SE, along with various iPad models, specifically the iPad Mini 6th Gen, the iPad Air 5th Gen, the Mac mini, and perhaps some models of the iPad Pro.

The M1 Macbook Air is also likely to see some small discounts. The M2 Air will be released within the next few weeks, but has a substantially higher starting price at $200 more than the M1. So, should you buy the M1 if it's on sale? Our experts will be testing the M2 model soon. In the meantime, the M1 remains a solid option for everyday tasks, especially if it's substantially discounted, but those seeking the latest and greatest should probably wait. We'll work in consultation with our writers during Prime Day to assess the M1 sales and see if any are still worth it.

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (41 mm, Green Aluminum Case, GPS) (Amazon)
Deal price: $284; street price: $329

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (41 mm, Green Aluminum Case, GPS) (Walmart)
Deal price: $284; street price: $329

For iPhone owners, the Apple Watch Series 7 is the best way to keep up with notifications, track fitness, get directions, and use apps without having to constantly reach for your phone. It has a bright large screen and is plenty fast for apps, and it includes some health-related features that less expensive models don’t. If you're looking for the smaller version, the 41 mm face size for the GPS-enables model is at a new low price in the green aluminum case.

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (45 mm, Aluminum Case, GPS) (Amazon)
Deal price: $314; street price: $360

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (45 mm, Aluminum Case, GPS) (Walmart)
Deal price: $314; street price: $360

All the same great features of the Series 7 watch mentioned above, only in a larger 45 mm face size. Both the starlight GPS-enabled model with the aluminum case. Both the starlight (off-white) and green colors are on sale.

Apple HomePod Mini Smart Speaker (Costco membership required)
Deal price: $83; street price: $98

The HomePod mini is a solid option for those already committed to the Apple ecosystem. If you primarily rely on Siri and primarily listen to Apple Music (it's not great for Spotify users), the Mini is a good alternative to the now discontinued HomePod. While we've found a few quirks when it comes to pairing with Apple TV, otherwise, the Mini easily connects with most HomeKit-enabled devices. The price is down to $83 shipped for Costco members.

Zagg Pro Stylus
Deal price: $40; street price: $50

Responsive, accurate, and ergonomic, we found the Zagg Pro Stylus to be the best stylus choice for iPads, and it's down to a new low of $40. Offering most of the same benefits as the Apple Pencil for a fraction of the cost, the Zagg Pro is extremely accurate and features both tilt awareness and palm rejection functionality, though it lacks pressure sensitivity. Embedded magnets also allow for attaching to the side of flat-edge iPads, so you won't have to worry about misplacing the stylus.

Google Nest Learning Thermostat + Google Nest Hub Max Smart Display Bundle
Deal price: $370; street price: $480

A smart thermostat takes the guesswork and effort out of heating and cooling your home. Our top pick will adjust to your schedule and balance temperatures according to your preferences to help trim utility usage and bills. This deal lets you get it bundled with a Google Nest Hub Max Smart Display. The Google Assistant–enabled Google Nest Hub Max is a handy digital assistant for streaming audio and video or making video calls. Both items together are down to $370, which is a very nice discount compared to the typical price of both bought separately. For a less pricey investment, you can bundle the thermostat with the Google Nest Hub for $250.

Google Pixel 6 Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB) (Amazon)
Deal price: $500; street price: $600

Google Pixel 6 Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB)(Best Buy)
Deal price: $500; street price: $600

Update: Also available from Best Buy in multiple colors. The best Android phone for most people, the Google Pixel 6 not only offers the best software experience you can find from an Android but it also features the best camera we tested. Already solidly priced before Prime Day, the Pixel can hold its own against phones double its cost. Now you can get a carrier unlocked phone with 128 GB of storage for $500.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB)(Amazon)
Deal price: $700; street price: $900

Google Pixel 6 Pro Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB)(Best Buy)
Deal price: $700; street price: $900

Update: Also available from Best Buy. For Android enthusiasts who want the best software experience on their phone, it's hard to recommend anything other than a Pixel. The Google Pixel 6 Pro has all power and features we love about the amazing Pixel 6, our top pick, but with a larger, faster refresh rate screen, more RAM, and a zoom camera. This is an excellent time to pick up this unlocked Pixel 6 Pro at the lowest price we've seen so far.

Sungait Vintage Round Sunglasses (Polarized Grey)
Deal price: $13; street price: $16

Our favorite round sunglasses are stylish, comfortable, sturdy, and include a lifetime warranty—a great perk for sunglasses under $20.

Havianas Top Flip Flop (Men's)
Deal price: $12; street price: $18

Sometimes you just want a pair of inexpensive flip flops you can wear to and from the beach without worrying about them while taking a dip. When that's the case, we recommend getting a pair of Havianas Top Flip Flop sandals. Down to $12 in a variety of colors and men's sizes, the flip flops are slightly more expensive than our previous pick, Old Navy's Classic flip flops, but long-term testing revealed that the Havianas are much better to live with—especially when water's involved. Unlike the Old Navy flips, the Havianas stay silent when wet and are grippier on wet surfaces.

Glerups Wool Slippers Open Heel
Deal price: $65; street price: $100

If your feet overheat easily or you want a more-minimalist-looking slipper, we recommend the Glerups Wool Slippers Open Heel. These slippers are the most durable and supportive felted-wool slippers we tested. Our upgrade pick for the best slippers, they’re warm, but they breathe well, so your feet don’t get sweaty.

The Fox in the Forest Card Game
Deal price: $11; street price: $13

Anyone who has played a trick-taking card game such as Spades or Hearts (or a Wirecutter writer's family favorite, Oh Hell) will be familiar with the main mechanism in The Fox in the Forest. But this easy-to-learn game puts a fun twist on those more traditional formulas with powered cards and a unique scoring system. From date night to roommate bonding, this is a solid deal on a simple, quick pick in our guide to the best two-player board games.

UNO Pixar 25th Anniversary Card Game
Deal price: $8; street price: $10

There are few card games as classic as UNO, and this special-edition Pixar-themed pack features cards with some of Pixar's most beloved characters, both new and old (Sully from Monsters, Inc. and Joy from Inside Out). While the rules of the game are the same as the classic version, there is one new unique rule—The Pixar Pop Quiz, in which players name up to five Pixar characters to force an opponent to draw cards.

Game console deals dried up almost entirely during the pandemic, as consoles were hard to come by even at full price. So far in 2022, we've noted some deals on select consoles that we're hopeful will see markdowns during Prime Day. We've tracked sales on the Xbox Series S, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and even the non-OLED Switch in recent months. We're hopeful that we'll see these consoles, along with accessories like the Switch Pro controller, well-discounted during Prime Day.

Lego bricks aren't just for children, and we've already seen some early Prime Day deals come and go on some of our staff's favorite sets. While we don't have any Lego deals right now, we're keeping an eye out for discounts on any of our favorite Lego sets for adults.

Target's competing Deal Days event began Monday, July 11, a day earlier than the official start of Amazon Prime Day.

One added benefit for Target shoppers is the additional 5 percent savings on qualifying purchases for RedCard holders. While 5 percent seems relatively small, it adds up, especially if Target matches Prime Day prices on an expensive product like a TV.

Lyric Therapeutic Massager

Bissell CrossWave Mop-Vacuum Combo
Deal price: $200; street price: $227

The classic CrossWave gets floors near-spotless more quickly than any other floor-care tool. The strong and durable plug-in model sucks up solid debris, slurps up spills, and wipes away stains all at the same time. Fair warning: Regular maintenance is essential, but that's true of all the mop-vacuums.

Best Buy is competing with Prime Day this year with their Black Friday in July event from July 11 to July 13. Last year, we saw deep discounts on some of our favorite gaming mice and TVs. This year, the company is promising potential discounts on Wirecutter picks including KitchenAid mixers, Apple products, TVs, and vacuums, and we're looking over all of them to see what's really a deal.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K (2021)
Deal price: $30 with store pickup; street price: $40

With so many streaming services, it's nice to have a dedicated media streamer that consolidates all of your subscriptions into a single place and does the job well. Our runner-up pick has the widest selection of services overall, and the player supports all the major 4K HDR standards (including Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10+). It's not our top pick though, as Roku's interface feels dated and doesn't integrate all your recently watched and preferred content into one menu as our top pick does.

Google Pixel 6 Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB)
Deal price: $500; street price: $600

The best Android phone for most people, the Google Pixel 6 not only offers the best software experience you can find from an Android but it also features the best camera we tested. Already solidly priced before Prime Day, the Pixel can hold its own against phones double its cost. Now you can get a carrier unlocked phone with 128 GB of storage for $500.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Android Phone (Unlocked, 128 GB)
Deal price: $700; street price: $900

The Google Pixel 6 Pro has all power and features we love about the Pixel 6, but with a larger, faster refresh rate screen, more RAM, and a zoom camera. This is the time to pick up an unlocked Pixel 6 Pro at the lowest price we've seen so far.

Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug2 (14 oz)
Deal price: $120; street price: $140

The Ember Mug2 is the newest version of the smartest coffee mug in our guide to the best gifts for coffee lovers. While it won't keep your drink as piping hot as the Zojirushi, it will keep your beverage at a toasty 120-145 degrees Fahrenheit (depending on what temperature you choose in the Ember app). It can't go in the dishwasher and comes with a steep price tag, but we were surprised by how effective and fun the Ember mug was to use—even if it's a bit superfluous. Only the deep blue is discounted, but some other colors include a $30 Best Buy gift card.

Logitech HD Webcam C615
Deal price: $30; street price: $34

Available at Best Buy with store pickup.

Walmart may have ditched the name of its Deals for Days sale, but it's still offering a slew of discounts to compete with Amazon's Prime Day sales. Deals have already started to flow and we're posting the best Walmart deals on Wirecutter picks.

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (41 mm, Green Aluminum Case, GPS)
Deal price: $284; street price: $329

For iPhone owners, the Apple Watch Series 7 is the best way to keep up with notifications, track fitness, get directions, and use apps without having to constantly reach for your phone. It has a bright large screen and is plenty fast for apps, and it includes some health-related features that less expensive models don’t. If the 41 mm face size is the right fit for you, this deal is a new low price for the GPS enabled model, however only the green aluminum case is on sale.

Apple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch (45 mm, Aluminum Case, GPS)
Deal price: $314; street price: $360

There’s no reason to choose anything but an Apple Watch if you're an iPhone owner searching for a smartwatch. Whether you’re getting your first Apple Watch or upgrading from a version that’s a few years old, the Apple Watch Series 7 is the model most people should choose. It offers the best combination of style, message handling, activity tracking, app selection, and battery life. If the 45 mm face size is the right fit for you, this is a solid deal for the GPS-enabled model with the aluminum case. The starlight and green colors are both on sale.
